I obtained my Master of Science in eLearning from California State University of East Bay.
The Master’s program was fully online, allowing me to experience being on the receiving end of online learning as a student. I was able to collaborate with peers as well as some instructional designers from the CSUEB eLearning team. In the capstone project, I created a full online course on Blackboard and Canvas which involved course alignment, accessibility standards, assessments, and multi-media content.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education, Society, and Human Development from the University of California, Riverside.
My concentration was in Learning and Behavioral Studies, which at the time I planned to utilize when becoming an elementary school teacher. However, when my last quarter of undergrad was shifted to online learning due to the pandemic, I realized the value and potential of eLearning. This is when I decided to pursue eLearning!
